Marc and I spent our 5 year anniversary, March 8th, at Donnie's house for a shower for my brother and his wife-to-be, Christy. Donnie and Daniel hosted the shower, 2 of Jody's groomsmen. They did a great job! :) There was a very interesting, but great band there performing right in the middle of the living room! You will see in the pics below where my mom because best friends with one of the guitarist thangs. Thank you. It was a very laid-back evening, and we ate lots of BBQ and just socialized. My grandmother was there getting kisses from all of Jody & Christy's guy friends!! It was the funniest. She loved them all and they're now all her adopted grandsons. Donnie is a TN Titan and you can see where my mom, Ginger, and I was stalking this one room in his house where he had some of his memorabilia!! We had the most fun posing with his autographed footballs and being crazy fans!!

Girls' Trip to Atlanta before I'm a mommy!!

Back in February, 4 of my best friends joined me in the family van for a road trip to ATL. We had the best time and all really needed the break! We stayed in the LaQuinta, our favorite cheap hotel with the best free breakfast ever, ate LOTS of yummy food (including Corner Bakery and Cheesecake Factory!) and shopped at Lenox Mall and IKEA. We helped Carrie pick out LOTS of items to decorate Colt's new playroom. He now has the cutest playroom ever, and I especially want to give his Auntie Paula a special shout out for all her muscles in carrying around all the furniture and loading into the van!! We picked him out a cute little table & matching chairs, storage system with cubbies, fun stuffed animals, a rug, curtains, pillows, and I can't remember what all else. I was just glad to get away with my girlfriends one last time before I have little Mason. I know there will be MANY more girls' trips, but it was just fun being pregnant and talking about what it's gonna be like to be a mommy.. and how different it's going to be! Next year, I'll leave Mason with Nana Kay or Grandy C. and my girls and I will still hit the Interstate for Atlanta! Being a mommy definitely won't stop the fun times wtih my friends. I love you girls!! I LOVE these memories!!

FINALLY!! Sorry to make y'all wait!! Here are some updated belly shots... I've kinda been slackin' lately!! But, today is Marc's & my 5 year anniversary and I wanted some pictures of us on this special day with the little one in the belly!! These pics are from the last 8 weeks, with the 30 week shot being taken a few minutes ago. I can't believe I've been a wife for 5 years and a mom-to-be for 30 weeks!!!

A Pregnant Woman's Best Friend!

Okay, girls, when you get to around 20 weeks of pregnancy or so, it kinda becomes somewhat miserable at night when you're sleeping!! Especially for the hubby!! My new purchase was WAY overdue!! At around 24 weeks I could not stand it any longer and had to spend more than I ever would on a pillow!! I went to Babies R Us and they only had one pregnancy pillow really and it was about $60. So, I started looking online. I found a website called www.babyage.com and found the PERFECT PILLOW!! It's called Today's Mom Cozy Cuddler. It came in just 3 days and now I couldn't imagine what I did before that glorious day it arrived under our carport!! It really does take up the entire bed and is the most interesting J-shaped thang ever, but I love it!! I throw my legs and arms all around it and have my routine down. :)The best part really is the pillow thang that goes under your head. I put that on top of my regular pillow and it's sooo comfy!! Anyway, just wanted to share it with you all!! I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone to purchase during 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Notice the little brown head asleep next to me in these pics. See, now Marc can sleep soundly without me tossing and turning and annoying the heck out of him! I just popped up out of bed this night and starting taking these pics cuz the idea came to me as I was laying there to post a blog about this new discovery. :) Luv y'all!!! Happy cuddlin'!

SURPRISE!!! This is what I was doing today!!!!

Marc and I haven't told anyone until this second, but we had a 3-D & 4-D ultrasound of Mason this morning!! :) We've been waiting for this for sooooooo long!! It was absolutely amazing! His little hands and arms were in front of his face most of the time, but we were still able to get some great pictures! He was waving those little perfect fingers at us the entire time!! We were also able to see him sitting on his bottom with his legs out straight in front of him and crossed at the ankles. It didn't look very comfortable!! The tech printed us several pics and gave us another DVD (just like they did when we found out the sex) so we can't wait to show it to all of you! I just cannot believe these images are of MY son!!!
