This is a story about two young boys... Mason Thomas & Luke Andrew. They don't know it yet, but they're BFF's, just like their mommies! They're going to be inseparable and get into lots of trouble together over the years! ha ha! :) They're going to take random road trips together, visit each other at their colleges, share an apartment during the summers, meet girls together, and then go on lots of random double dates (well, not until they're about 50). And as you'll see in these pictures, they may even just share a love for shopping & sharing clothes! They're 9 months apart, which seems like a big deal now, but in a few years it won't even be "no thang!"! Currently, Mason is 1 year, 1 week old; and Luke is 3 months, 2 weeks old. They have already had so many fun adventures together. They've even fought over 2 women already! The first time Mason & Luke met - Feb. 11thDanyelle & Baby Audrey were in town visiting, so the 4 of us went over to the Brostos' for a visit

Back a week later to check on Luke... the 2 boys weren't paying each other any attention at this point. I think that Mason didn't realize Luke was a person, maybe a little doll?
They both share the same First St. Patrick's Day!

Carrie & Colt came for a visit... These 2 boys attract visitors from all over! Mason & Luke finally noticing each other! Mason is obsessed with poking him as hard as he can in the forehead.

Taking a break from shopping at USA Baby.... the boys were trying out the different recliners to see which ones they would rather be rocked in.

Mason wasn't being very sweet to his friend. He was trying his hardest to shove him right out of the chair! We had to split them up.
Okay, that's my sweet boy. Mason was trying to help hold Luke up.
Out for a stroll... MOM! Why do Luke and me have to wear these silly hats of mine?!?!?! This is soooo embarassing!
Angela & the boys' friend, Cooke, came along with us to enjoy the beautiful day. Cooke, born in March, is the newest addition to the gang!
Luke doesn't even get jealous when his mommy takes a break to play with Mason!
Luke's first time at church... Mason was DYING for his friend to get there!! If only they got to be in the same big boy class! Luke is still getting in trouble in the nursery, while Mason is stealing everyone's cheerios in the bucket seat class! We have got us some stinkers!!

They get bored easily at friend gatherings
One of their many shopping trips... Their favorite is to the fabric stores where the aisles are so skinny that their mommies accidentally give them whiplash by running them into the rolls of fabric

Yes, these boys are even troopers in that they allow themselves to be dragged to their mommies' Bare Essentials make-overs!
The boys say,"We love Sunday night Life Group! We get to hang out with our fun toys while the grown-ups talk about grown-up stuff." Mason is so mad that he can't be looking at Luke's cool octopus; he has to be all strapped into the swing so he doesn't destroy the living room! Luke, your turn will be soon!
Shopping again!??! Seriously!! Oh, but we do LOVE clothes, so I guess it's not too bad that we're all perched up in front of Carter's with all of our new purchases around us!

The boys are very patient while their mommies work hard to get back their pre-babies bodies! Well, we've actually kinda given up on that. :) As you see, we're taking a little break from our brisk walking in this picture. We were out of breath!
Okay, now here's where we're gonna have our problem: fighting over the same woman!!! Luke heard that Brooklyn came over to play with Mason, so he had to get in on the action! He asked his mommy to bring him over. As you can see though, Mason was not worried at all. From the gleam in his eye, you can tell that he thinks he's won this one, hands down!
So Luke is busting out the flirtatious smile, while Mason strips down to show off his manliness. I don't think Brooklyn's too impressed with either one, though. She just wants her food!

Luke and Mason, your mommies love you soooooo much! Words can't even begin to describe how much our lives have been blessed now that y'all are here. We can't wait to watch you two boys grow into handsome young men and keep us constantly on our toes while you're at it! I pray you two are always as close as your mommies and that you'll always have each other's backs. And Luke, I give you permission someday to get Mason back for all the unfair punches he has thrown! :)

That was such a fun story to read! They really are going to be best friends--they have no choice! Luke says that Mason better watch out cause all the ladies won't be able to resist Luke's red hair and flirty grin! Luke's already been practicing the flirty smile so he can steal the women away from Mason!
I am so excited for the boys to grow up with each other and to see what crazy adventures they go on! Just like their mommies!
