Mason and his favorite book

Okay, I just had to hurry and post these pictures! While I was at the dentist on Monday, my dad came and hung out with Mason around the little shopping center thang, took him to Subway, and sat in the car with him to read books. We have learned that his favorite book is "I Love You, Stinky Face." I've been reading that to him since we brought him home from the hospital and whenever Marc enters the room while we're reading he makes some comment about how silly it is. It really is, but for some reason Mason just loves it! His eyes get all book looking at all of the commotion on each page and listening to the Momma say, "I'll look you in your one big eye and say, 'I love you!'" We had it at church with us this past Sunday entertaining Mason with it during Sunday School to preoccupy him. It worked! He was just a starin' at each page as I turned it with those cheeks all bulging out and drool coming out. Anyway, my dad had this book all perched up in Mason's car seat with him in the back of my car when I got out of my dentist appointment. Mason is just now learning how to somewhat grasp things and he had his sweet little hands holding that book like he really was reading it!! It was sooo cute!
