We had one of the best Christmases ever this year! The time we spent with our family was way overdue and we made so many great memories. Of course, there is a little bit extra excitement this year with the upcoming addition to our families. :) We spent 4 days in Madisonville, KY with Marc's mom's side of the family, a day in Greenville, KY with Marc's dad's side, and then Christmas Eve night & Christmas Day with my dad's family and my immediate family. We saw so many family members that we really haven't been able to spend quality time with in a long time due to all of our crazy schedules. We laughed our heads off the entire time, with both families. Our families are so crazy, but that's why we love them so. :) Below are pics of our time spent with Marc's family. Check back soon for the post about my family's Christmas. I have so much work ahead of me working on these posts!! :)
Opening gifts with Marc's parents & brother
Johnathan loves his momma!!
Marc's 2nd cousin, Hannah, joined us so she could be the elf & photographer! :)
Marc FINALLY got some old man house shoes! They have not left his feet since we have been home. He has to walk all around the house in them. Revealing to Marc's entire family the name of our son... the second we got to his parents' house, we had to sit in the middle of the room and pull names out of the "? Moore" Suggestion Box of all the silly names the family suggested we name our baby. We also presented Connie with a special bag embroidered for her with the baby's name on it. It was a very emotional moment for everyone since we're naming our baby after Marc's grandfather. Connie & her twin sis, Bonnie, pilfering through the bag of goodies Marc's cousin, Mace, & his wife, Ginny, brought their adorable little puppy with them all the way from Mississippi for the weekend. Her name is Foxy and she was our sweet baby!
Cousins, Second cousins, & cousin-in-laws
All of us (Connie's bros & sis' & their families)
We love Marc's second cousins, Baylee & Hanna. They were the flower girls in our wedding. I cannot believe how big they are getting! They make us feel so old!
I have no clue...The whole family singing out hearts out to "The 12 Days of Christmas"... a family tradition.
We are sooooo incredibly blessed to have families that love to laugh and love on each other!!! I pray your Christmases were as unforgettable as ours!
